What is BQCoaching?
My intention with BQCoaching is to share what I do as a coach, manager and mentor. To allow players to book sessions, parents to find a suitable program for their little ones and for everyone to have access to sessions, thoughts and ideas that may be helpful to them.
Who am I?
My name is Ben Qualtrough
A dedicated and passionate coach since the age of 15. By 23 I had completed the UEFA B Licence, was completing the UEFA A Licence at Lilleshall and studying a degree in Coaching and Sports Development at Manchester Metropolitan University.
I have held coaching positions at Derby County Academy, with The FA, Manchester United Soccer Schools, in the US, Thailand and many, many others.
As a Coach Developer I have delivered the UEFA B and C Licences for the FA on the Isle of Man, in Liverpool, Cheshire and Manchester for almost 10 years. I have also been an FA Mentor and lecturer at UCM on the Coaching and Sports Development BTEC.
In 2016 I created The iCue Academy and as a result drastically changed the landscape of youth football on the Island. A program that provided 1000’s of opportunities to youngsters, set standards and introduced principles that have been applied by many coaches and youth clubs and a framework which a number of others have since replicated.
